01Overview

CrypFame is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and never require personal information to use the service. Your interaction with CrypFame is primarily through your public Ethereum wallet address.

02Data We Collect

Wallet Addresses

Public Ethereum addresses used to interact with our smart contract. These addresses are already public on the blockchain and are not considered private data.

Uploaded Content

Profile images and banner images you voluntarily upload. These are stored on our servers and displayed on the platform.

Referral Data

A referral ID stored in your browser's localStorage when you visit via a referral link. No personal data is linked to this identifier.

Server Logs

Standard web server logs may temporarily contain IP addresses for security and debugging purposes. These are not used for tracking and are automatically rotated.

03Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Location data or geolocation
  • Browsing history or activity outside CrypFame
  • Any form of personal identification documents
  • Financial information beyond public blockchain transactions

04Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal browser storage, strictly for functionality:

  • WalletConnect session data — technical, required for wallet connection functionality.
  • Referral ID — stored in localStorage, functional only, used to attribute referrals.

We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers of any kind.

05On-Chain Data

All blockchain interactions — including Fame scores, shout messages, referral connections, boosts, and spotlight activations — are permanently recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. This data is public and cannot be deleted or modified by anyone, including CrypFame. This is an inherent and immutable property of blockchain technology.

06Uploaded Content

Profile images and banner images are stored on our servers. You may request deletion of your uploaded content by contacting us. Please note that deletion of server-side content does not affect on-chain data — the blockchain transaction recording the upload will remain permanently on the Ethereum network.

07Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with third parties. Server-side data is not shared with anyone outside of what is publicly displayed on the CrypFame platform.

08Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect server-side data. However, no system is 100% secure. We are not responsible for the security of the Ethereum blockchain itself or your wallet's private keys.

09Third-Party Services

CrypFame integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • WalletConnect — for wallet connection
  • Ethereum RPC providers — for reading and writing blockchain data

10Children

CrypFame is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has interacted with our service, please contact us.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of CrypFame after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
